The ability to efficiently deliver utility services such as gas, electric and water and interact effectively with customers require constant focus on improving processes and communication skills. TrainSmart has worked with utility companies to manage usability and documentation teams for an enhanced customer management software program, developed and delivered customer service and communication skills training, and created web-based training for improved product knowledge.

Gas Technology Institute
- Conducted a training needs assessment to establish a strategic plan for the call center and technicians.
- Designed training programs for technicians and call center representatives for a regional gas delivery association.
Miracle Gas Dispatch
- Assessed, designed and developed user reference materials.
NIPSCO
- Managed the documentation and usability team for a customer service program that was developed in the OS/2 environment. Responsible for system and end user documentation, conducting usability labs, faciltiating feedback sessions to developers, train the trainer sessions, development and implementation of training sessions to over 800 users. Also involved in process analysis through the development of the new software.
- Provided all preliminary OS/2 training and train-the-trainer to prepare for working with the customer service training program.
ComEd
- Development, delivery and analysis of results for a custom instrument used to access multiple areas in the field.
- Development and delivery of communication skills training.
- Development and delivery of supervisory training for crew leaders.
Amoco/BP
- Created an extensive web-based training project that for the first time offerd online documentation of the company's gasoline pricing program.
AV Reilly
- Developed and delivered customized MS Office Training for corporate using Element K.
- Developed and delivered a team building program designed to address the merger of two additional import/export companies.
