Computer-Based Training & Web-Based Training
Implemtenting a new computer based training cbt? We have the
RIGHT solution to match your budget and needs.
We offer two solutions for the creation of CBT’s (computer
based training) and WBT’s (web-based training) :
- A simple interactive approach that is very affordable. This
option offers information based modules that deliver information
about changes and updates. This is often used for software and
policy updates.
- An extremely interactive approach using state-of-the-art media
production. This option is more expensive, but offers the ability
to include video and audio production as well as complying to
the standards of SCORM (Sharable content object reference model)
and AICC. This approach is used for advertising, marketing,
corporate training and product launches.
Our consultants work with an array of tools to create infomercials,
and e-learning for computer-based and web-based needs. The applications
utilized include ToolBook Instructor™, Macromedia™
products, PowerPoint and many Learning Management System proprietary
packages.
PDA Development and Training
TrainSmart, Inc. provides the analysis, development and support
of custom applications for the Palm OS platform, Windows CE and
BlackBerry, including applications requiring RF communication, scanning
and printing. Data collected on Palm devices can be transferred
to a desktop PC via HotSync and ported to an existing database.
A custom application on the Palm offers ease and convenience, by
allowing access to sales and inventories at a moment’s notice.
As documented by Palm, “With
its emphasis on openness and simplicity, the Palm OS offers a
standing invitation to innovation for developers of all skill
and experience levels. Registered developers have access to the
source code of many of the standard Palm OS PIM applications,
and to a subset of the Palm OS source code, to assist in application
development and debugging of applications.”
