Why TrainSmart?

The formal business name is TrainSmart, Inc. and its Global corporate offices are located at 1600 Golf Road, Suite 1200 in Rolling Meadows, IL  60067.  TrainSmart was incorporated in the State of Illinois under the Federal Taxpayer ID #36 – 4021608 in 1994.  TrainSmart has been WBE certified since 2000.  Leslie Ciborowski is the founder and 100% owner of TrainSmart.

TrainSmart is a full service learning solutions provider with its business revenue derived from training development and delivery, training assessments and audits, HPT consulting, and profiles and assessments.  TrainSmart services domestic and international organizations.  Currently, we deliver sales, leadership and communication training in Korea, Taiwan, Shanghai, Suzhou, Germany, Italy, India, and Canada.

TrainSmart’s customer base includes 200 plus small and large companies that represent a wide variety of business segments.  At any given moment, our team is working on 20-35 projects.  TrainSmart has six full-time employees, a core team of 75 senior consultants, and more than 400 “consultants at Large,” plus strategic partners who provide elearning development, profiles and assessments, LMS, and many other services on as-needed basis.

TrainSmart consultants form a highly motivated, energetic, talented team that brings decades of experience to their projects.  They are a culturally diverse group, whose career backgrounds include curriculum design, programming, teaching, training, accounting, organizational development, HPT, sales and marketing, and professional speaking.

TrainSmart has an internationally certified (www.IBCT.org) three-day Train-the-Trainer workshop, which can be leveraged to deliver a Train-the-Trainer workshop.  This workshop includes the international competencies required for a workshop to be certified as a “Certified Trainer.”
