Founded in 1994 as training company focusing strictly on computer-related technology training, TrainSmart has grown into a global learning and performance solutions firm.
Over the years as the training industry changed, TrainSmart stayed flexible adapting to those changes with expanded services and new capabilities. Initial training ranged from basic Microsoft Office training to large technology rollouts. In 1998, TrainSmart expanded its training services to offer a wide variety of performance solution courses including:
- Team effectiveness,
- Time management,
- Workforce and organization, and
- Workforce development.
In addition to expanding its instructional course offerings, TrainSmart has kept abreast of technology advances and added new eLearning and mLearning design and development capabilities.
New consulting capabilities reflect special client requests for assistance in such matters as instructional design, evaluation and assessments, as well as organizational matters related to training. TrainSmart now assists clients in such areas as startup training functions, training audits, and strategic training planning to name a few. TrainSmart continues to monitor the nature and scope of its clients’ learning and development needs for the purpose of responding to and meetings those needs.
